Steel Fixing At
Technic Concrete Floors.
When our reinforcement contractors conduct high-quality concrete formwork and reinforced steel fixing for your project, you’ll be investing in a durable and sustainable build from the foundations onward.
Steel fixing creates a reinforced cage that sits within concrete formwork (the mould), improving the structure’s stability, resistance, and longevity.
Concrete steel fixing combines the benefits of two incredibly durable materials, allowing your structure to withstand all kinds of stresses and loads.

Concrete steel fixing does come with an upfront cost, but its benefits prevent structural issues and costly repairs down the line.
Some of the key advantages of concrete steel fixing include:
Better strength and load-bearing capacity
Prevents cracking and maintains structure
Resistant to impact, wear, and degradation
Improves build safety
Cost-effective
Adaptable to different project scopes

We use two concrete steel fixing and reinforcement methods in our projects:
Rebars (also known as reinforcing bars): We install these steel bars into a grid pattern pre-concrete pour to create a protective skeleton of sorts within the structure.
Steel mesh: For a continuous layer of reinforcement (usually for slabs and walls), we install a grid of welded steel wires.
Spacers: We also use spacers and chairs as supports to hold the reinforcement in place, maintain a durable structure, and prevent movement like shifting and sagging.
1
Reviewing Engineering Plans
Before work begins, we assess your engineering drawings to mark out the correct areas and determine the appropriate type, size, and spacing of reinforcement.
2
Cutting and Bending Reinforcement
Specialist tools are used to cut and bend rebar and steel mesh precisely to your project specifications.
3
Building the Reinforcement Cage
Using spacers and chairs, the reinforcement cage is assembled by securely tying the bars together with binding wire.
4
Fixing Reinforcement in Position
Once assembled, the cages are fixed onto a concrete base and positioned correctly, ready for the concrete pour.
5
Qualified Team & Quality Assurance
All work is carried out by fully trained steel fixers who follow the latest health and safety standards, using only high-quality, safe steel reinforcement for complete peace of mind.
Concrete steel fixing is essential for any built-to-last concrete structure. It’s an extremely versatile reinforcement method — we’ve completed tons of projects to a high standard in various industries, from commercial and residential builds to infrastructure projects.
Concrete steel fixing can be applied to reinforce:
We offer a variety of tailored, specialist concrete flooring solutions. Let our team handle the process — from ideation and design to expert installation.
One of the main benefits of concrete steel fixing is that it is adaptable to any shape. Our steel fixers can cut, bend, and tie the reinforcements into any formation to suit any build layout.
Concrete is already a strong and reliable material, but when enhanced with steel reinforcement, your concrete structure is less likely to crack or fail under heavy loads. The two materials work well together because they compensate for the other’s weaknesses, creating a highly durable solution.
It’s said that reinforced concrete is almost double the strength of concrete alone. This is something we can test using our innovative concrete cube testing service!
